Game Preview: Feelin' It: Virtual Pool 3

Greetings Falcon Friends! We've got another great game preview for everyone, Feelin' It: Virtual Pool 3.

Currently the highest-rated pool game of all time for the PC, Virtual Pool 3 is widely considered to be the most accurate computer simulation of billiards available. Feelin’ It: Virtual Pool 3 improves the game even further by letting you actually use your sense of touch while playing the game. Feel the weight and inertia of the cue stick, the impact of the billiard balls, and even put spin on your shots using your real-life finesse.

With 18 different pool games, Snooker, 1- and 3-cushion billiards, online support, career mode, and more, this is as real as pool can get without the chalk. In fact, this is one of the only pool games that can claim to make you a better player in real life!

Tom, Novint's CEO, swears that he's not going to buy a real pool table because this game is so real. I've tried it and it's so much fun! You don't need to worry about clicks or meters when playing this game. It's really fun and for $29.95, it's a steal! Check it out at the Online Game Store!

Game Preview: The Ship

Hi there everyone. Here's another preview of an exciting game for the Falcon, The Ship.

You may recall that this tile was the IGN Winner: Most Innovative Design of 2006, and one of the Firing Squad's Top 5 Games of 2006. The Ship has been described as "one of the best and most innovative multiplayer games available" and as "one cross-genre game that really deserves the hype." And this is what the The New York Times had to say: "I've spent more than enough time running around alien ships indiscriminately firing rocket launchers. Now I just want to put on a tuxedo, grab a golf club and enjoy a civilized, seafaring afternoon of murder in cold blood."

In The Ship, you'll be placed aboard a murder filled cruiseliner, and you'll be able to feel in detail, everything that happens in this multiplayer game. You can feel a poison-filled needle penetrate your murder Victim (we did a medical needle insertion training simulator for real-life doctors, so you can imagine how realistic this will feel), feel a knife or axe stab into someone (or feel them stab it into you), or feel yourself be bludgeoned with a mannequin arm.

With the Falcon, feel a deep immersion in the setting, as you hunt and are hunted by others, with unique control and feel of the various weapons you can find aboard.

Novint's version of The Ship will be available soon for $19.95, so keep checking out the Online Game Store!

New Game Added to Game Store!

Hello Falcon Friends! Novint's Game Development Team has been hard to work to bring lots of exciting new content to our Falcon Flock. We've just added Feelin' It: Crystal Quest, Novint's Touch Enabled version of the arcade classic, to our Online Game Store.

A classic arcade game, Crystal Quest was first introduced in the 1980's and has been a hit ever since. Now with enhanced graphics and all-new, updated gameplay, you will pilot your ship through 60 waves of frantic action, collecting crystals and evading a horde of enemies. These unique baddies spawn from portals on each side of the screen, and you must fire your main gun or deploy a smart bomb to vaporize every one. Grab all the crystals to open the gateway and complete the level, but don't forget to gather up the goodies in each wave first! With Falcon control, you can actually feel your momentum and inertia, impacts with enemies, and the activation of your entire weapons arsenal. You can snag a copy of the game for $14.95.

Keep checking our blog as we expect to have several new titles available within the next couple of days. Also, don't forget to check out Novint's Message Boards (look under "Games" and check out the message titled, "Active Message Board Readers - Please Read"). We've currently got an awesome (and by awesome I mean free) treat for our Falcon Friends. Check it out, I promise it's worth your time!
